Breakthrough Quantum Computing Chip Sets New Standards for Supercomputing

In a monumental leap for the world of technology, a pioneering quantum computing chip has shattered performance barriers, paving the way for an era of computing power previously thought to be science fiction. Developed by a collaboration of leading tech companies and research institutions, this quantum computing breakthrough is set to redefine the landscape of computing, enabling unprecedented speeds and capabilities that could revolutionize industries across the board. Key Highlights of the Quantum Computing Breakthrough: Unprecedented Processing Power: Traditional computers use bits to process information, represented as 0s and 1s. Quantum computers, on the other hand, leverage quantum bits or qubits, which can exist in a superposition of both 0 and 1 states simultaneously. This inherent parallelism allows quantum computers to perform complex calculations at speeds that would be inconceivable for classical computers. Massive Quantum Supremacy: The newly developed quantum chip achie

Google to bring this ‘much-awaited’ feature in the upcoming major Android update.

Google has already brought several new OS features with Android Q beta updates. While the fifth beta version is yet to reach eligible smartphones, a beta member claims to have received it. And one of the key changes that was spotted was how easily users will be able to access the notifications panel from the home screen. As reported by the XDA developers, Android Q beta 5 will finally bring the ability to swipe down from the home screen to access the notification tray, something that is still not possible in the Pixel smartphone’s launcher. Of course, you can get this feature working in smartphones using third-party launchers. Some OEMs -- including OnePlus too have adopted this feature.
The feature will let users swipe down from anywhere on the home screen to access the notifications. For now, you would have to swipe all the way from the top to get the notifications tray but given the new feature’s popularity among other launchers and smartphones, Google adding this in Android Q will definitely be a welcome addition for many.
Those who want to get their hands on this feature and other new ones, they can install Android Q beta in their eligible smartphones. It is worth adding that since these are the beta versions, they may include some software bugs as well. The Android Q beta 5 is said to arrive within this week or next week.
Google also introduced a new feature in the third beta of Android Q. As reported by Android Police, the beta version included a Battery Saver feature which is similar to the Low Power Mode of iOS. The feature will automatically turn off the Battery Saver when the battery is charged up to 90%. Presently, if the Battery Saver is enabled the feature turns off at the time of charging and will turn back on when the charger is unplugged from the device. The new feature automatically turns off when the device is charged up to 80% regardless if its plugged or not.
