Breakthrough Quantum Computing Chip Sets New Standards for Supercomputing

In a monumental leap for the world of technology, a pioneering quantum computing chip has shattered performance barriers, paving the way for an era of computing power previously thought to be science fiction. Developed by a collaboration of leading tech companies and research institutions, this quantum computing breakthrough is set to redefine the landscape of computing, enabling unprecedented speeds and capabilities that could revolutionize industries across the board. Key Highlights of the Quantum Computing Breakthrough: Unprecedented Processing Power: Traditional computers use bits to process information, represented as 0s and 1s. Quantum computers, on the other hand, leverage quantum bits or qubits, which can exist in a superposition of both 0 and 1 states simultaneously. This inherent parallelism allows quantum computers to perform complex calculations at speeds that would be inconceivable for classical computers. Massive Quantum Supremacy: The newly developed quantum chip achie

IBM Develops Fingernail Sensor That Uses AI to Track Patient Health, Disease Progressions.

IBM researchers have developed a first-of-a-kind "fingernail sensor" prototype that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to monitor and analyse human health as well as disease progression. The wearable, wireless device continuously measures how a person's fingernail bends and moves, which is a key indicator of grip strength. Although skin-based sensors can help capture things like motion, the health of muscles and nerve cells, and can also reflect the intensity of a person's emotional state, these can often cause problems, including infection with older patients. But the new system uses signals from the fingernail bends such as the tactile sensing of pressure, temperature, surface textures. "Our fingernails deform - bend and move - in stereotypic ways when we use them for gripping, grasping, and even flexing and extending our fingers. This deformation is usually on the order of single digit microns and not visible to the naked eye," sa

Official Apple Music Twitter account uses an Android phone to tweet.

On several occasions celebrities and Android smartphone brands have been trolled for using an iPhone to promote an Android phone on Twitter. Now it seems Apple has been caught on the wrong foot. The social media team handling the official Twitter account of  Apple Music has been caught using an android phone while replying to a tweet of Singer Ariana Grande. The tweet posted was first spotter by YouTuber Marques Brownlee . The tweet that which can be still found on the official Twitter account of Apple Music has already received over 4,500 retweets and 28,600 likes. The official Twitter app doesn’t reveal the operating system that has been used for particular tweet. There are third party Twitter apps like Twidere Fenix, Beeter and others which reveal this information. For example, if someone has tweeted from an iPhone, there is a footnote which says “via Twitter for iPhone”. Similarly, if an Android device is used for tweeting, the footnote reads “via Twitter for Android”. Sophisticated Cyber Attacks On Cloud To Dominate 2019: Trend Micro

Bengaluru: Cyber attackers will use more sophisticated tools in 2019 to take advantage of the changing technology landscape and prey upon evolving corporate technology environments especially Cloud, cyber security firm Trend Micro has said. The attackers will leverage proven methods against growing Cloud adoption, the firm said in its report late Friday, adding that more vulnerabilities will be found in Cloud infrastructure, such as containers, and weak Cloud security measures will allow greater exploitation of accounts for cryptocurrency mining. This will lead to more damaging breaches due to misconfigured systems. “As we head into 2019, organisations must understand the security implications of greater cloud adoption, converging IT and OT, and increasing remote working,” said Greg Young, Vice President of Cybersecurity for Trend Micro. “Cybercriminals will continue to follow a winning formula – exploiting existing flaws, social engineering and stolen credentials – to drive

Instagram now lets you send voice messages in DMs.

Tired of the same old, text-based DMs? Good news, then: Instagram now lets you send voice messages. Instagram, the popular photo-sharing app quietly added a feature that lets you share short audio messages with friends. If you've ever used voice messaging on Facebook Messenger, this will feel familiar: Hold the microphone button down, record a short message and send as part of a chat. It's a pretty standard implementation of the idea, but Instagram does add it's own twist: If you don't want to hold the microphone button, you can simply open your DMs and hold your phone to your ear -- an quiet beep will sound and whatever you say next will automatically be recorded. You'll still have to look down at your phone and tap on the send icon, however. The new feature works on both iOS and Android devices. Instagram’s a little late to the game with bringing voice messages to DMs, as its parent company Facebook has had a voice messaging feature in its Messenger platfor

Google confirms Allo app shutdown in March 2019.

Google has announced to shut down its Allo messaging app and focus on its Messages app. The company in a blog post said that the app will continue working through March 2019 with users having the option to export their chat history. Currently, the main focus of Google is on the Messages. It has already received some of the key features of Allo like Smart Reply, GIFs and desktop support. It aims to become a one stop chat and messaging solution for phone users. "Earlier this year we paused investment in Allo and brought some of its most-loved features-like Smart Reply, GIFs and desktop support-into Messages. Given Messages' continued momentum, we've decided to stop supporting Allo to focus on Messages," Google VP of Consumer Communications Products Matt Klainer said. "We've learned a lot from Allo, particularly what's possible when you incorporate machine-learning features, like the Google Assistant, into messaging," he added. The s

Two in Three Business in India are not fully Digitized.

While almost all Indian businesses have started their digital transformation journey, only a third have reached maturity, said a study on Monday. One of the major factor holding back Digital transformation and restricting  cloud adoption in the country is complexity and confusion about the IT Environment according to the "State of IT complexity in India" reported by virtualization leader Citrix. "The study found a strong collection between the increasing level of complexity felt within organizations and the delay of digital transformation maturity." Citrix India said. The future has never looked more complex.IT leaders are being asked not only to drive IT services, but also improves business outcomes. The findings showed that nearly 40% of Indian businesses believe their IT environments are more or significantly more complex than two years ago. For the study Citrix commissioned the Glass elevator to conduct a survey of 1764 businesses and technology decisi
