Breakthrough Quantum Computing Chip Sets New Standards for Supercomputing

In a monumental leap for the world of technology, a pioneering quantum computing chip has shattered performance barriers, paving the way for an era of computing power previously thought to be science fiction. Developed by a collaboration of leading tech companies and research institutions, this quantum computing breakthrough is set to redefine the landscape of computing, enabling unprecedented speeds and capabilities that could revolutionize industries across the board. Key Highlights of the Quantum Computing Breakthrough: Unprecedented Processing Power: Traditional computers use bits to process information, represented as 0s and 1s. Quantum computers, on the other hand, leverage quantum bits or qubits, which can exist in a superposition of both 0 and 1 states simultaneously. This inherent parallelism allows quantum computers to perform complex calculations at speeds that would be inconceivable for classical computers. Google confirms Allo app shutdown in March 2019.

Google has announced to shut down its Allo messaging app and focus on its Messages app. The company in a blog post said that the app will continue working through March 2019 with users having the option to export their chat history.
Currently, the main focus of Google is on the Messages. It has already received some of the key features of Allo like Smart Reply, GIFs and desktop support. It aims to become a one stop chat and messaging solution for phone users.
"Earlier this year we paused investment in Allo and brought some of its most-loved features-like Smart Reply, GIFs and desktop support-into Messages. Given Messages' continued momentum, we've decided to stop supporting Allo to focus on Messages," Google VP of Consumer Communications Products Matt Klainer said.
"We've learned a lot from Allo, particularly what's possible when you incorporate machine-learning features, like the Google Assistant, into messaging," he added.
The shutdown of Allo and focus on Messages app is part of Google's aim to focus toward a "simpler communications experience" and also better the SMS experience on phones.
The app will continue to work till March 2019 and users can export their chat history until then. To save your Allo messages and media, you can back them up. You can restore that information on a new phone as long as you use the same phone number. However backups will be automatically deleted after 40 days if you uninstall Allo app.
